Exoskeleton Survival Suit

Here is my design for an exoskeleton suit, that would support a growing ecosystem in a backpack. The suit would is completely solar power and would support the extra weight carried on your back. The hydroponic system in the backpack is desgined to grow just enough food to provide sustainable living, including herbs, leaves, nuts, berries and mushrooms. The food would be grown in layers, and rotated on a specific schedule, the suit has storage for surplus of food. Water is also crutial, and a recycling system is in place to make sure there is no waste.

Hypothetically, the suit would act as armor for any blunt force, a protector from extreme heat, cold, and even lack of oxygen. The plants are designed to generate fresh air, mushrooms to reduce polution, clense and recycle soil. The entire concept is a synergy between plants and humans in all dire survival scenarios. The human needs the plants to survive, and if the human survives so will the particular species of plants.

Simplify your answers

A friend, and reader of my blog, requested I focus a few blog posts on answers, instead of problems (fluoride poison, mercury in food, new world order and much more). I thought it was a very good request and I wanted to simply give my point of view of trying to survive this period in which "the world as we know it" has forever changed. I have heard that quote, "the world as we know it... forever changed" from a dozen people in various field of research in the last few weeks. Which tells me that this 'way' of life, the American 'way' of life, is over. We are not just in a slump, we are different. As a member of this community we all must be willing to change.

My advice to my friends, and readers of this blog, is to simplify your life. We all need to simplify in many ways: food, work, entertainment, thinking, education, exercise and more. Here is my brief tips for staying positive and making the most out of our current situation.

Food
I stopped eating meat, which I did for ethical reasons, however more importantly, I've made a very hardcore commitment to eating foods and drinking drinks that have simple natural ingredients. I eat mostly fresh fruits and vegetables. I eat beans and cheese, and make sure to evaluate the ingredients in all of my food. I spend more on food than I ever have before, and buy bags and bags of produce. Salads, stir frys, steaming, smoothies, and nachos. I honestly do not miss meat from my diet (unless i smell it), and am very happy with the menu I provide myself. If the things you are eating have long confusing names, or a laundry list of ingredients, stop eating it: it is killing you and destroying your mind. In the future I hope to be growing my own food and managing a fluid garden (which i can take with me from location to location)

Work
I have never understood 9-5 office jobs; in general, they seem like empty positions meant to take very smart people and give them jobs in order to make someone else more money. I think 60-70 percent of all American jobs are quite pointless, which is probably a low estimate. I often wonder how many people ask themselves, "what does my job ultimately bring to humankind?" The answer is usually not much more than doing the grunt work that the men or women on top do not want to do. My advice goes along with my 10 things to do if you lost your job in 2009. Basically, learning actual skills, making things, fixing things, inventing things, volunteering, are all much more important than most jobs. You can spend your time constructively learning new skills which will save you money, or even generate more money. In my opinion, all jobs should be allowing you to become more self sufficient in life. Repairing your own clothes, making your own bags, mechanics, cups, cooking, solar panels, bikes, etc etc. At this point, any job and income seems to be a godsend, although your free time can be used to learn everything you can.

Entertainment
While we should all be out dealing with the world around us, it is too simple to lose ourself in a video game, a TV show or DVDs. I find myself doing this myself; almost overwhelmed with problems and enjoying the escape of some other reality. This is not a good choice, and not a good use of my valuable time. I do not watch any TV, but do watch DVDs rented from the library; mostly documentaries or cartoons. Entertainment can be free (from the library or borrowing from friends or using the internet), and we should use it sparingly, or in moderation while performing other tasks. I explain why I do not own a cell phone here, and i think it is one of many objects we do not need to survive in this world. Reduce the amount of things you are attached to, both physical and fictional. Although make sure the things you do love, you love them fully and realize the sacrifice you are making to be able to enjoy them.

Thinking
This is the most important; and the most simple. We need to be more organized in our thinking. It is important to be acting, instead of reacting. Especially in these tough times, its best to sit down and ask yourself what you want, or what problem you want to solve and then make a list of how to do it. Doing this helps in so many ways, and will help you stick to your guns about how you feel. While this is a scary time, do the things you LOVE and figure out how to make it work. Remember that you are smart, capable and more resilient than you think. Take advantage of that, and go get what you want. Be passionate and creative.

Education
Education never really ends. It is said that, on average, the intellectual mind peaks at 22 and brains begin declining as early as 26 years of age. I strongly believe this is due to the end of our educational system: as college tends to end on average at age 22. If you end schooling and climb into employment and stop learning, your mind will decay. We all need to learn and explore from now until the day we day. Do not cut corners, learn things, and apply them to your life. Embracing things you do not know, learning new skills and information will help out every single item on this list. Learning is simplifying to your mind how things work. It is very important!

Exercise
Exercise can be such a struggle for people, and that is because it is unnatural. I think we all need to merge exercise with fun; dancing, games, sports, etc. In between everything mentioned above, do not forget to enjoy your life, body, and friends. Dance, jump, roll around and embrace this urge. Take fear and anger and release it by running, playing a sport, or doing housework. Do not be lazy, and remember that exercise can be added to normal tasks, walk to the grocery store, walk to the library or post office, make it fun and an adventure. These are the free things we can enjoy and use it to get exercise.

I really hope a few people enjoy reading this list and find one or two things that you can implement in your life. A lot of the ideas are very obvious, and yet sometimes it helps to be reaffirmed and may help to really buckle down to commit. Let us all simplify, learn, and be healthier and more prepared than ever before.

If you have any advice to give to me, I would love to hear it, since I am constantly looking for new ideas and ways to do things to help simplify my own life. all comments are appreciated.

ALIEN 2012

sketch by william hessian

The last few months, co-workers, friends, family, bloggers and even random strangers have been asking me about the end of the world. I have had conversations about aliens, pole reversal, comet strikes, bird flu, martial law, famine, the mayan calendar, nostradamus, population control and a million other conspiracies. Personally, I find it extremely fun to talk about.

I, like a lot of people around the world, have been harboring a growing curiosity around the 2012 myths (as seen on the history channel's Armageddon Week and countless blogs and youtube videos). This is evident in the books I have been reading (sitchen, strieber, geryl etc.) and the researching I been doing on and off for years. I know the person who runs global disaster watch (a site that monitors natural disasters worldwide) very well, and have been seeing warning signs of unusual behavior. My opinion on the concept of the end of the world, especially being an immortalist (one who wants to live forever). So here it goes:

My prediction
As people start reacting irrationally to the unknown threats which December 21st 2012 guarantee to bring us, those who act rationally and make smart conservative choices will be the most prepared to handle the situation. I do not think there will be one huge mass extermination of human life or overall swooping of destruction, but instead a very slow almost invisible change (which is already happening) that will lead to escalations in humankind turmoil. Like boiling live crabs, we will never realize how bad things are until we are dead, which is why we much act now, and understand the world around us. Learn. Temperatures extremes both hot and cold will rise and fall (only a few degrees a year), forcing people from both hot and cold climates to consider relocation to milder weather climates. Water levels will rise, slowly pushing back ocean bordering civilizations towards the center of continents. Extreme disasters (hurricanes, flooding, wildfires, earthquakes etc) will continue to rise, and consistently kill off small portions of populations in vulnerable locations. Due to the migration of people based on those three issues, populations will rise in safer parts of the world, and clashes between shortage of food, cultures, and land will cause war and fighting. The violence will be counteracted around the world by an increase in defense in military, police and structural manners. I feel that the shift will realign and restructure land, people, animals and weather at a rate unseen or unpredicted by all modern scientists while happening slow enough that limits widespread panic.

Aliens
Based on conversations with some of you, my readers, and friends: you may be disappointed to hear I do not predict the arrival of alien spacecraft, or the surfacing of alien communication with world leaders. While I am very interested in such concepts, I strongly feel if it has not happened yet, that it won't magically or drastically happen on December 21st 2012. More likely would be a constant stream of alien propaganda (movies/books/articles) thats will slowly convince us all that the aliens are already here and a normal occurrence that we do not need to feel threatened by. Having said that, I am explaining and admitting that I do believe in aliens and their encounters with human beings. As I said above, I do not think a link between aliens and 2012 will be something that we are exposed to as 'normal' human beings, I have heard many things to believe that behind the scenes the deterioration of planet earth is understood and being watched intently by extra intelligent life. Anyone wishing to talk further about this, I welcome conversation in the comment section or by e-mail. Although I prefer intelligent, educated, conversions and will ignore any other type.

Preparation
I have already decided what I am going to do to prepare for 2012. It is the same thing that I do to prepare for any disaster or impending threat. I educate myself, keep myself healthy and make smart decisions. I wrote a list of ten things to do if you lost your job in 2009, and I feel the list is also a great list of things to do if you are worried about 2012. Do not lose hope, grow your own food, alternative transportation, buy locally grown goods, sell excess goods, volunteer, build things, eat less meat, and stockpile food and water. The most important things to do are be mentally prepared for anything, and be educated. If you are ill, out of shape, taking pills or lazy... i suggest trying to remedy these things as soon as you can. I spend a lot of my free time thinking of new inventions and solutions to problems that might arise, check out my silo home-solution to underground living.

The future is going to bring us some amazing things, including some amazingly bad things, and we must be ready to face them all and be the answer we are looking for. You can be an expert in anything you want, all you need to devotion, time and confidence. We must survive, and our first duty must be to protect the earth.

Solar Powered Submarine is designed to save the world

This submarine can survive the pole reversal, the apocalypse, and 2012.

I have been listening to a lot of Coast to Coast AM radio, which I can barely receive here in Minneapolis. Many of their guests deal with aliens, end of the world, myths, ghosts, government cover ups and anything else that can be labeled under the 'conspiracy' umbrella. It is pretty much the most exciting radio program I have ever listened to, even if a lot of it I do not fully believe.

While listening to Coast to Coast I was turned on to a few books by Zecharia Sitchin, which in turn led me to google and to find this website: How to survive 2012. Patrick Geryl has written a book about the reversing of the poles in 2012 (if you have read this book please comment to me what you thought of it). Reversing the poles means, the north pole and the south pole will switch in a tidal wave causing, earth quake shaking, volcano erupting, America and Europe flooding disaster of the grandest scale! Many ancient artifacts, like the Mayan Calendar and many other ancient calendars seem to predict 2012 as the year for a major life threatening disaster to strike the earth, it could be the reversing of the poles.

The bible's detailed recounts of the time of the wall of water, fire on earth, fire and brimstone falling to earth, and heaven becoming hell have all been listed as a very probably events during a previous pole shift. This is the hell of earth doomsday scenario, and a lot of evidence is supporting this idea as probable.

There is also scientific research supporting the fact that our magnetic poles are losing strength at a rapid, and threatening speed. Not to mention, that it is predicted that America and Europe will be completely flooded during this shift. Which would explain the immediate depletion of America economy and the crumbling of America as a country. It also explains why the rich may be going underground and why they are hording oil with extreme urgency. I now propose that we may want to look into mass producing or self producing Solar Powered Submarines, like the GoldFish Project!
